Josh's 5th grade football team played Saturday for the Championship.....It was a really exciting game....the Hurricane Tigers started out a little on the slow side...7-0.....other teams favor......Hurricane finally made a touchdown but didn't make the extra point, putting the score at 7-6 I was a little worried when the other team scored another touchdown in the fourth quarter making the score 13-6 with only 8 minutes left in the game. When they kicked the ball to us after thier touchdown, a small kid on the Tiger team caught it and ran the full field making a touchdown! The score was tied.......the other team had the ball, and only about 5 minutes left in the game.......I figured we wouldn't have the time to score again especially since the other team had the ball.....but Hurricane managed to hold them......and gained control of the ball...... scoring their winning touchdown 20-13..... They got some really cool trophy's.. He'll have a full story with more pictures on his blog.
